lili starts school...

Today at 12:30pm Li started prep. He has been gearing up (literally) for the last few weeks and the day has finally come. It felt so great walking him into the beautiful new building and seeing his wonderful classroom. It's so organised and clean (totally cool by me) and his teacher, Mrs Campbell, seems really lovely. All the parents milled around for a while seeing off their excited kids. The best part of the day was seeing kai working hard in the classroom right opposite Li's, then having him run out of class to give me a big hug hello. So not a sad day for me at all, i'm really happy to have them both at school now and have the school so close to home.

escaping the heat at crown...

Took the kids into Crown for the laser tag adventure of their dreams... Gotta say I got a bit stressed out in Crown, with it's hugeness, but it was really cool compared to the sun beating down by the Yarra. But it was fun having an icecream outside once the clouds had moved over...
