We headed up to Daylesford this weekend. Eli had to work so he stayed home, enjoying the time by himself, while the kids and I picked up Gaye and headed up early Thursday. Mum and marti arrived later that night. It's a great old house with a beautiful spa and lots of room to play. The garden has an orchard and I was in heaven as the trees were heavy with ripe apples... After paying over $7.00 a kilo for the last couple of months it felt like such a gift! Anyway we had a wonderful time. We found out after the first day how dangerous trampolines can be (Liam fracturing his elbow with a little help from Kai). But even through the ordeal we managed to stay and have a good time, and I even got to visit Ballarat for the first time, courtesy of Liam's rush to emergency.
