blurry but fun...

It was Jenny's (my Mum friend from Kai's school) birthday last night and a whole bunch of us went out to Oscars to celebrate. It was a fun night and made me think about how i hardly ever go out anymore and I wish I could. Eli met me there later on and we had a nice time remembering about how much we use to go out together and just spend time together... one day we will be able to again...

daylesford...

We headed up to Daylesford this weekend. Eli had to work so he stayed home, enjoying the time by himself, while the kids and I picked up Gaye and headed up early Thursday. Mum and marti arrived later that night. It's a great old house with a beautiful spa and lots of room to play. The garden has an orchard and I was in heaven as the trees were heavy with ripe apples... After paying over $7.00 a kilo for the last couple of months it felt like such a gift! Anyway we had a wonderful time. We found out after the first day how dangerous trampolines can be (Liam fracturing his elbow with a little help from Kai). But even through the ordeal we managed to stay and have a good time, and I even got to visit Ballarat for the first time, courtesy of Liam's rush to emergency.

school break-up...

All of us prep mums and kids got together for a little party after school break-up today. It was really lovely, especially as some of the kids are leaving the school. Zoe is also somewhere in the crowd if you can spot her : )

Zoe had so much fun climbing up and sliding down the slide at Simmone's on Monday. She didn't need any help and just went for it!
